Karate Belt

Karate Belts signify your rank and skill level in the sport of Karate. It was created by Japanese Judo, but was soon adopted by Karate. Karate Belts are a way of identifying someone’s progress in Karate, and each color represents a different skill level.

Earning a new Karate Belt color is a great honor that holds a special value to the individual. Karate belts colors begin with white and progress to yellow, green, brown, and black. In some others Karate schools and styles, the color order is white, yellow, orange, green, blue, brown, black.

Karate Belts are very important to every person who practices Karate. Having a black belt is a very prestigious and a great honor that means that the individual is at the top of their game. Many years of hard work is usually needed to get a black belt.
